Course Name:
Broadmoor Country Club

Indianapolis, Indiana

 

Club Operation:

Private golf club on west side Indy> 279 current golf members; 100 plus social.

 

Course Description:

Established in 1922, Donald Ross design, 18 holes, 6800 yards with bent/poa greens, tees and fairways, Toro Site Pro irrigation and good adequate resources. 

 

Position Title:

2nd Assistant/Asst. in Training.  Position is created for an individual to acquire all the hands on skill and experience needed to move into a First Asst. position as needed.

 

Position Availability:

November 1, 2011.

 

Duties:

Customary golf course maintenance in daily staff operations, irrigation, fert/pest applications, project renovation, safety training and general cross-training of staff.

 

Compensation Package:

Commensurate with experience and would range somewhere in the $24,000 to $28,000 range.  Position would be full-time full year. Employee/Employer shared health insurance, life insurance, and annual vacation.  Dues and educational expenses would be paid for local association education.

 

Requirements:

Minimum two year degree and/or five years previous work experience.  Must be a self motivated individual, prepared to work in a bi-lingual environment and be open to working in a flexible work schedule when required. Some horticulture background would be a real plus. We are looking for 3 to 5 years of stability if possible.  You must either possess or be capable of obtaining Indiana Pesticide Certification in your first thirty days of employment.
